CLOUD & INFRASTRUCTURE

Cloud infrastructure should improve operations — not simply move the same problems elsewhere.

We design and migrate Windows Server, RDS, SQL, storage, VPN and hybrid environments around real workloads, user counts, application requirements and recovery objectives.

Infrastructure design considerations.

Compute

CPU and memory are sized around user concurrency, application behavior and expected workload.

Storage

Operating system, application data, SQL data, logs, TempDB and backup staging are separated where appropriate.

Connectivity

Internet, VPN, site-to-site connectivity, DNS and latency are planned as part of the workload — not after deployment.

Security

Firewall, endpoint protection, access control and administrative privileges are built into the design.

Backup

Independent recovery copies are planned outside the primary workload failure domain.

Application compatibility

Legacy business applications, SQL dependencies, licensing and vendor requirements are validated before migration.

Cloud, on-premises or hybrid?

There is no universal answer. The right design depends on application latency, data location, remote work, operational cost, internet reliability and recovery requirements. Hybrid architectures are often the practical answer when workloads have different constraints.

Planning a server refresh or cloud migration?

Start with workload discovery, dependency mapping and a rollback plan.
